Greg Court
In 1986, Greg graduated from Sheridan College's Classical Animation program and began his career as a 2D animator. He worked on long and short-format films of all types, ranging from features and series to short films and commercials. From being an overseas supervisor on such cartoon series as Beetlejuice, to animating Bugs Bunny in the feature film Space Jam, Greg continued to grow in leaps and bounds as an artist. In 1997 Greg joined Red Rover Studios. Working closely with Andy Knight as his mentor, he commenced directing and storyboarding as well as animating. In 2001, Greg co-directed ADT's "Big Bad Wolf" with Andy and won second place at the World Animation Festival as well as a Detroit Caddy Award. After a successful career in 2D and having directed over 20 commercials, Greg made the switch over to CG; a move that was a natural fit. Greg has since directed and animated on many commercials including Yahoo Canada's new brand spot that premiered Oscar night and has since been picked up by the UK and Australia. Recently, Greg completed work on the upcoming CG feature, Gnomeo & Juliet with STARZ and Miramax.
