Several Studio Owners in VFX and Animation are throwing an Industry Holiday Party @ Maison on Dec 14th. We thought it would be cool to get the industry together and share some drinks, hit the dance floor and enjoy a good night out for the Holidays.

Tix are $25 and comes with 3 drink tickets - Just reserve your tix at www.vaip.ca (VFX Animation Industry Party - easiest url we could find) and they'll make arrangements for you to pick up tix.

Come and Celebrate!
It has Made it's way Home!
::::: November 11 2011
After allot of number crunching and deliberation the Pool Table has made it's way upstairs to it's new home!!! Allot of hammering and glue fumes were involved and I'm sure everyone was having the easiest day at the studio, but after a few hours everything was in it's place. Sigh, it didn't feel the same without it.
RedRover Tournament
::::: November 09 2011
Monday was a great day for a tournament, one that would blow Wimbledon out of the water. Behold the first annual REDROVER PING PONG CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!
The RedRover team held a Ping Pong tournament over at Spin on Monday. Hard competition, and determined players made for a great game.Wes Lui was a favourite to win, with his Chinese Ping Pong training it was a shock to see him crumble under so many opponents.
Jason Stalker was another favourite to win, but I guess all his racing experience has not helped him much in his career with ping pong.
Aaron was doing well, with his small build he was quick and agile at making side to side hits proving useful to confuse his opponents but that was not enough.
The champion this year was Ann Bodner.
Ann Bodner has been playing Ping Pong since she was 9, training her entire life for this moment. Her last competitor was non other then Ricardo Curtis. Ricardo has only been training for 5 years, but wow what a player. He held his end for awhile but sooner or later Ann found his weakness, and from then on it was all wins for Ann.

Congratulations to all our players, and we'll see you next season!
